Career Day Fair in Gigantium

Arrangementsbeskrivelse

The Career Day fair is now set to be on Tuesday 5th March – in Gigantium.

We expect all of you to attend this event from 10:00 to 14:00, where we start with a workshop and then we will meet the companies at the fair, so speak with your teachers already today about this event! 


The day will start with a 45 minute workshop where we want to share some important tools and information to you before we head to meet the companies.


We know some of you are not looking for a potential Internship yet, but this event gives you a chance to find a study relevant job, a company to collaborate with regarding semester projects and just in general broaden your network by meeting companies and organizations in-person. It is also a good opportunity to practice a conversation in Danish with a company representative.

Remember as well that this is a good opportunity for you to Pre-register and be spotted as a talent; check many different available jobs at the Job gallery; have your CV checked by a professional career consultant; having your CV picture taken out; and of course network with students that may be in the very same situation as you (looking for an internship, or a study-job, maybe a master thesis collaboration)

Logistics:

We have booked a room (Meeting room 1 – Lokale 1 upstairs), where we all will meet at 10:00, and then end it at around 11:00, so we can go and participate at the fair.

You are welcome to take your CV so we can give some feedback on the day. 

Perhaps think of bring a lucnh box (Madpakke in danish), if you are thinking in spending some hours at the fair. This way you will not think of getting food and you can more confortably enjoy the fair and get the best out of it. 

Extra:

Our expereince shows that at career fairs and other events where you have the possibility to present yourself or talk with a company employee may students make several mistakes. Be inspired by how to prepare your profile pitch and what to say to the companie sonce you met them. Preparation is key!
