Welcome September Webinar: The Danish Labour Market and Danish Workplace Culture
Webinar description
Are you new to Denmark? Would you like to learn more about the concept of the Danish model, the Danish labour market and Danish Workplace culture?
Did you know that approximately 70% of the employees in Denmark are members of a trade union? Denmark is known for its unique system with trade unions and flexicurity where employers and employees generally agree upon working conditions. But how is it all connected? This webinar will give you the answers.
This webinar is part of Welcome September, a national initiative to welcome international citizens in Denmark, under the TalenTDK project. It is a collaboration between 3 Danish trade unions; IDA, the Danish Society of Engineers, DM and DJØF, Professionals in social sciences, which combined have nearly 290.000 members. Danish trade unions offer you, as an international professional, researcher or student, guidance on how to enter the Danish labour market and every other aspect of your job search and career development. They can also help you negotiate conditions and salary when you get a job.
