Denmark is known for its unique system with trade unions and flexicurity where employers and employees generally agree upon working conditions. But how is it all connected? This webinar will give you the answers.

This free webinar about Danish Workplace Culture and the Danish Model is a collaboration between International House North Denmark and the Danish trade union IDA, which has more than 130.000 members. Danish trade unions offer you, as an international professional, researcher or student, guidance on how to enter the Danish labour market and every other aspect of your job search and career development. They can also help you negotiate conditions and salary when you get a job.

Who should join?

The webinar is open to all current and future international employees at companies in North Denmark. The facilitator Jakob Gradel will give you an introduction to the Danish model and the role of trade unions, as well as go through some of the important aspects of Danish workplace culture. In the end, there will be room for questions and open discussion.

About the facilitator and IDA

Jakob Gradel is a Career Consultant at IDA and oversees IDA’s mentor programme. The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, is a professional organization with more than 130,000 members working and studying in the fields of technology, natural sciences and IT. All international professionals and students in North Denmark are welcome, the webinar is not limited to people in the above mentioned fields.
