Getting Started is an introduction to Denmark. It is the need-to-know and good-to-know information about Denmark for recent arrivals.

The presentation will give you insights to:

• Practical things; first steps after arriving in Denmark including the Digital Denmark
• Information on how to build a network in Denmark
• Danish culture and norms

Starting in a new country can be confusing. New authorities to deal with, new cultural norms, etc. For our Getting Started event we have made a short and concise presentation that covers all the basics.

After the presentation there will be time for a Q&A. Do you have some specific questions about life in Denmark? Don’t worry! We are here to help. If we do not cover the topic with our presentations, we will have time for questions and answers afterwards.

The second part of the event will be an introduction to a very classical danish meal called smørrebrød (open sandwiches). After a short introduction we will enjoy a variety of open sanwiches and socialise. 

The event is free of charge.
