International House North Denmark welcomes all international spouses and partners to our Spouse Space Fall/Winter 2023 program.
Spouse Space's goal is to:
🎯 Create a network of accompanying spouses and partners
🎯 Help with job search
🎯 Help spouses/partners integrate into North Denmark
🎯 Introduce spouses/partners to networking opportunities and help each other with their daily challenges
Fall/Winter 2023 Program Dates - (Attendance is required for 3 of the 4 events in order to participate)
September 27th 12.30-15.00: Spouse Speaker & Aalborg Theater Tour
Need inspiration on your job search? Hear how previous Spouse Space participant, Nivedita Mishra, landed her first job in North Denmark. Afterward, we will enjoy a guided tour at Aalborg Theater.
Lunch will be served during this event, so please let us know when signing up if you have any dietary restrictions.

October 24th 13.00-16.00: Job Search and CV Workshop
Build your CV and get a free professional photo taken for your CV at this Spouse Space workshop. You will get the chance to become inspired for how to set up your CV, how to go about sending unsolicited applications, and brainstorm with each other about your job search and possible workplaces. At the end of the workshop you can get your CV photo taken by a professional photographer for free!
Lunch, coffee and tea will be provided for this event.

November 14th 14.00-16.00: Circular Economy
Learn about circular economy from Mette Alberg Mosgaard, Lecturer at Aalborg University. Circular economy is becoming an important potential and challenge for the Danish industry. When organizations initiate their endeavor into more circular products and business models there is both a need for new collaboration partners and internal competence development.
In her presentation, Mette will introduce both the fundamental concepts of circular economy and give examples of how this influences the business models of the organizations and the actors involved.
Cake, coffee, and tea will be served during the event.

December 14th 17.00-20.00: Christmas dinner
We will end the program with a Christmas Dinner where we will enjoy a traditional Danish Christmas dinner, play "pakkeleg" (the fight for the gifts), and put a lot of emphasis on "hygge"! 🎄🎁
You will also receive diplomas for participation in the program (if you have attended at least 3 our of the 4 events), and between all participants who have been present at all four events, we will announce a winner to receive a reward.

Please read before registering:
The program consists of 4 events. Attendance is required for 3 of the 4 events in order to participate. This is due to the program receiving funding and therefore we need to ensure a certain number of participants.
