About the workshop:

🌱  You are considering starting a business in Aalborg, but are concerned about the risks? You are not alone—and we are here to support you.

At Aalborg University, we have been researching how community-driven, cooperative business models can reduce risk and increase resilience for businesses.

We are launching a series of hands-on workshops to explore and co-create community-driven businesses—innovative, inclusive enterprises owned and run by the people who use them. 

Limited spots available to ensure personal support. Free to join, but we expect commitment and collaboration. The follow-up workshop will be planned in the next 3-4 months, keeping in mind the needs and convenience of the people joining us.

Who is it for? You're exploring self-employment or entrepreneurial opportunities, eager to create something meaningful in for the community. You're also curious about cooperative business models and how they can support shared success

Why Join? Join a community of like-minded individuals who are exploring business ideas and driven by purpose. You'll receive support from researchers at Aalborg University, International House of North Denmark, and Startup Cafe Aalborg, while testing a value-driven business model with real potential. Be part of a Horizon Europe project and contribute to creating meaningful social impact.

How does it work? You'll participate in a series of workshops where we'll collectively develop and test a cooperative business idea. Researchers from Aalborg University will collaborate on the process, while our local partners—International House North Denmark, Startup Café Aalborg—will provide additional support to bring your idea to life.

You will leave with:

• An innovative cooperative business idea, developed in a group
• A support network to test the idea and develop it as a business
